Hi! I’m Emma, and I’m just getting started with astrophotography. I created this site to showcase my images.
Right now, the equipment I’m using is an 11-inch Schmidt-Cassegrain CPC and a borrowed camera. I’m not sure the specs of the camera.
My software is DeepSkyStacker (though I haven’t used it yet for the photos I’ve posted so far).
For each photo I post, I include all the relevant details I know about it–the object’s catalog designations, its common name if it has one, the constellation, and of course the specific equipment and exposure I used for the shot.
I also try to include interesting info about what kind of object it is, how it formed, etc. (You can find more in-depth info over at my other blog, CosmosAtYourDoorstep.com.)
Hope you enjoy!

Damn you’ve got an 11 inch – mine is only an 8! 😀

Hehe – a gift from a guy who’d noticed my recent activity in the outreach world. He wanted lots of people to see through that scope, and felt I was the best person to do it 🙂
